Online Presence and Identities

Names like John Chow, Jeremy Schoemaker, and Ted Murphy are prominent names on the internet business so when someone mentions their names of an affiliation, an online transaction has 99.9% of being closed. But then of course, a fraud may use those names to attract deals from unsuspecting victims. But that’s out of the question.

To be equally successful in the internet business, one should have a prominent name (or aliases for some) where you could flaunt throughout the cyberspace and be an internet mogul or the likes.

LookupPage, an internet company offering online identity security, believes that a having a prominent identity in search pages leverages innovative marketing tools and strategies to helps professionals, individuals, and businesses promote a powerful online presence. Blogging, Web Designs and Theme Developers

Blogging has been a very rewarding experience for me not only because I finally was able to give my writer wannabe a chance to be read by public, it also broaden my knowledge and skills in graphic design and web development. And not only that, I am now able to earn extra income not only from my publishing works but also from my template designs and blog customizations. Yes, I do accept blog template design and customization projects. And though I don’t charge huge amounts, the number of repeating customers and referrals are overwhelming. So I was able to earn more than enough cash to finance for the things that I have been longing to have for some time now. But that is not what this entry will be pointing about.

With the advent of wordpress and other blogging platforms, more and more people gained access on the internet and were able to express their views and opinions on different issues from the most trivial to the most serious ones. At the same time, a number of web developers and digital graphic designers are opting to develop themes for these blogging platforms. With the rate the theme developers are emerging from out of nowhere, the competition gets higher leading to an inversely proportional decrease in the cost of designing jobs.

ImageShack.com is NOT ImageShack.us

I have mentioned in a previous blog post that when I’m trying to access PayPal’s website, my browser is kind of being redirected to imageshack.com website. I don’t know what the real problem is but it only happens when I’m in the office (yeah, I do access some non-related sites in the office - tell me who doesn’t) but when I’m at home, the sites are working fine. The redirection also happened when I’m doing my real office job and I have to check the status of a parcel from UPS, apparently UPS’ website is also being redirected. Now I suspect that it’s our company’s firewall problems now.

Anyway, I only realized now that imageshack.com and imageshack.us are not in any way related to each other, or are they? ImageShack.com, though also related to digital images and having the website colors as that of imageshack.us, it is not a free online image hosting. Now I’m not sure who existed first but their website colors are causing confusion (or at least for me).

In any ways, that’s just my worthless observation. Not really a big internet issue. Hahaha!

Create some sparks with SocialSpark

SocialSpark is now live! Under the umbrella company IZEA, Social Spark is another network which enables you to earn income while blogging. Similar to PayPerPost, SocialSpark has a pool of advertisers looking for bloggers to promote their sites and products. And what made their money making opportunities is that they also give away incentives and rewards to bloggers who will refer traffic and sell outs to the advertisers that they’ll be promoting. Say for instance, 10 bloggers took opportunity A from Advertizer Z. If Blogger 1 sends most traffic and out sales for Advertizer Z with his or her blog post, SocialSpark will give additional incentive (may be in form of money) to Blogger 1 as a reward. Plus more!

SocialSpark is also a social networking site which allows you to network with friends and other bloggers (perhaps with advertisers as well). Just take a peek at my profile, I now gained two friends Roxiticus, Frank Mueller and Ted Murphy.
