Blogging, Web Designs and Theme Developers
Blogging has been a very rewarding experience for me not only because I finally was able to give my writer wannabe a chance to be read by public, it also broaden my knowledge and skills in graphic design and web development. And not only that, I am now able to earn extra income not only from my publishing works but also from my template designs and blog customizations. Yes, I do accept blog template design and customization projects. And though I don’t charge huge amounts, the number of repeating customers and referrals are overwhelming. So I was able to earn more than enough cash to finance for the things that I have been longing to have for some time now. But that is not what this entry will be pointing about.
With the advent of wordpress and other blogging platforms, more and more people gained access on the internet and were able to express their views and opinions on different issues from the most trivial to the most serious ones. At the same time, a number of web developers and digital graphic designers are opting to develop themes for these blogging platforms. With the rate the theme developers are emerging from out of nowhere, the competition gets higher leading to an inversely proportional decrease in the cost of designing jobs.
With this event however, not all of those aspirants survive or were able to make their marks in the internet and just vanish among the crowds. Some of the early ones, was able to give the first best impressions so they became prominent figures among the bloggers. Brian Gardner, one of the pioneers is also one of the best ones whose name remains on the field. Almost every blogger, who wants to have a premium or customized themes, comes to him first without questions.
I myself could not compete with him of course, but for those whom I have known personally while blogging, choose to seek my services because they know me more, they could call for help easier, and that I charge considerably cheaper than those eminent designers.
If you are looking for premium themes or if you want your blogs customized, I recommend Brian Gardner for his works. That’s if you’re not much concerned about the prices. However, if you’re on a tighter budget there’s still a lot of promising geniuses out there who are designing a blog for considerably lower prices. But if all things else fails, you can come back to me and see if there’s something we could discuss about. Or… you could check other bloggers who are writing about blog and design. Perhaps you don’t need the service of those paid designers if you could just learn to do it yourselves.
